I have been working in the IT industry since 2003 and have accumulated 20 years of experience in various IT roles in different business sectors and technical disciplines. I am a Microsoft Certified Professional with a specialisation in Microsoft Cloud Platform & Infrastructure (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) including Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, Office 365, as well as on premises Windows Server Infrastructure solutions (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) specifically Microsoft Exchange Server, Active Directory and Hyper-V Virtualization. I also have extensive knowledge and experience of the Google Cloud Platform and am certified Professional Cloud Architect and Google Cloud Authorized Trainer.
I have worked in various roles including field service, remote support, system administration, system engineering, cloud architecture, IT security, DevOps and team leadership. I have been heavily involved in various projects relating to scoping and building or migrating various Microsoft Server and Cloud technologies - including Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, ISA/ Forefront TMG, Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Google Cloud and Workspace. I also have extensive experience with virtualization including Microsoft Hyper V and VMware technologies which includes building and supporting data centre virtualization as well as private and hybrid cloud solutions. I am also an active blogger writing about cloud platform & infrastructure.
