Queen Rania of Jordan joined her husband, King Abudullah II, and son, Crown Prince Hussein, in Davos, Switzerland at the World Economic Forum. And while other spouses including First Lady Melania Trump opted to forgo the global conference, Rania braved six feet of snow to put in an appearance at the Swiss resort town. For her first two days in Davos, she packed a smattering of elegant separates in rich jewel tones and light neutrals.

For her first formal dinner in Davos, Queen Rania donned an emerald ensemble with fringe detailing for a sleek yet hand-crafted approach to her usual minimal style. Modern, geometric jewelry by Ralph Masri gave the look some subtle sparkle. Daytime meetings —with Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Argentinian First Lady Julianna Awada, and German Chancellor Angela Merkel — saw the royal again embrace a vibrant palette in midnight blue, oxblood, and aubergine. She took a more muted approach for other conference events, however, appearing in head-to-toe cream with chunky heeled boots that were appropriate for trudging through all that snow.

Her latest look — a more spring-like approach — may suggest Queen Rania has had enough of the cold weather. The light blue top was paired with a leather skirt which featured contrast trim for a directional twist on the classic pencil skirt silhouette. With the Forum set to close tomorrow, Jordan's elegant monarch still has plenty of time for another head-turning look or two.
