It's her job for life the day she became Queen, no need for a medal. Her hair looked better held up but a lovely traditional dress

Every country has its own traditions and rewards. It is not up to anyone to have comments on that. It has nothing to do with fashion either.

Yeah, its "her job" but she could have just as easily only done the bear minimum for it. Instead she has, in my opinion, gone above and beyond to help uplift the women of this region of the world who are often treated as second class citizens and as the property of men with no right to their own thoughts, wants, and ambitions.

@Anon 09:52 She is not getting a medal for being a Queen. She is being rewarded by her husband - the King - for being a positive role model to young girls and a strong supporter for womens rights and humanitarian causes both in her own country and around the world. That function is not in the job description of any Queen anywhere. It is an individual choice that a Queen can make - to use her platform to champion those causes. Not all Queens take on this type of responsibility.

The dress is not a traditional dress but a bottega veneta dress .

  3. Sur cette robe dont les lignes modernes lui conviennent bien, je vois une petite touche traditionnelle ; j'aime beaucoup !

Beautiful traditional dress with a modern touch. Rania is wearing too much make-up lately. Given a medal by her husband? Very strange. It's like the butcher has inspected his own meat (Dutch expression)

I think she is not wearing too much make-up lately, but a different one. Queen Mary of Denmark also wears a different kind of make-up than before. I see a similarity between the two of them. Probably they are testing new products that came recently on the market. And do not forget they are both fan of permanent cosmetic procedures.

How is this any different than the Kings and Queens of Britain, and other countries, bestowing orders to their family members? When Fred became King a few weeks ago one of the first things he did was to "give" (it's still being made) Mary a Royal Family Order with his portrait to go along with the one she already has from Queen "Daisy." Then you have things like special titles for family members, for example, "The Princess Royal." There's the Victorian Order which "... was established by Queen Victoria in 1896 as a personal award to recognize 'distinguished personal service' to the Monarch and her household." etc. I don't see a distinction here. ???
