    Mission Statement

    The mission of the State Police is to serve the state as a whole and to provide support to other local agencies. The State Police strive to be an elite and competent force in all aspects of policing in San Andreas. They work to protect the property and life of the citizens of San Andreas.

    Our department has many Divisions within to allow our members to expand their knowledge and allow us to properly handle any situation at hand!



    K9 Division

    K9 Commander: [107] LT. J. Cooper

    SA'F

    The mission of the canine unit is to enhance law enforcement crime fighting and prevention efforts in detection, criminal apprehension, officer safety, and service to the community. A specialized group of State Troopers in conjunction with their service canines will assist in the identification of illegal narcotics and firearms, the recovery of missing persons, and the capture of fugitive suspects.





    Commercial Vehicle Enforcement

    The mission of the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division is to reduce commercial vehicle-involved crashes within the state by conducting roadside inspections and traffic enforcement on large commercial vehicles. The overall goal, of the SASP Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division, is to ensure the safety of commercial loads, trucks, and equipment. In order to reduce preventive crashes, load loss, and mishaps.

    Chain of Command

    Colonel

    The Colonel is at the top of the Chain of Command. They oversee the whole department and make sure it is operating to its full potential.

    Lieutenant Colonel

    The Lieutenant Colonel is appointed by the Colonel. The Lt. Colonel works hand in hand with the Colonel and holds the same power as the Colonel. They are a departmental admin and assist the Colonel in making final decisions within the department.

    Major

    The Major oversees the day to day operations within the San Andreas' State Police. They are also the start of the department administration and help the Colonel and Lt. Colonel make decisions. They play a crucial role in ensuring the department's operations and functionality while working alongside lower command and CoC.

    Captain

    The Captain will oversee normal patrol deputies and the supervisors of the San Andreas' State Police. They overlook all subdivisions and the certifications within the San Andreas' State Police. They play a vital role in ensuring the success of the department and its inner workings.

    Lieutenant

    A Lieutenant is responsible for making sure the department flows smoothly and ensure the Supervisors are on task and making sure they are all on the same page. They oversee the supervisors, assist them with anything they may need or take it up the chain if required.

    Sergeant

    A Sergeant is the very first supervisor position within the San Andreas' State Police. They are expected to be able to assist all Troopers with any of their questions or concerns in and out of game. They will help relay information to their superiors as needed. They must demonstrate their abilities, such as leadership, teamwork, respect, passion both in and out of patrol.
