2000 Honda Civic SiR Coupe

This 2000 Honda Civic SiR coupe is a Canadian-market example that remained registered in British Columbia and was acquired by the seller in 2022 following a reported period of long-term storage. Subsequent refurbishment work is said to have included refinishing the body in black and replacing the engine bearings, seals, and gaskets along with the radiator, brake rotors, brake pads, and tires. The car is powered by a 1.6-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle, and the interior is trimmed in gray cloth. It is equipped with 15″ alloy wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a front strut tower brace, side skirts, a rear wing, a sunroof, power accessories, air conditioning, and a CD stereo. Now showing 195k kilometers (~121k miles), this Civic SiR is offered in Canada with service records, an accident-free Carfax report, and British Columbia registration in the seller’s name.

The body is finished in black and was reportedly repainted during the refurbishment under current ownership. Additional work included repairing dents and replacing the windshield, window seals, and moldings according to the seller. The car features DOHC VTEC side graphics and rear SiR badging in addition to a sunroof, a mesh front grille, side skirts, mudguards, a rear wing, and heated power-adjustable side mirrors.

Seven-spoke 15″ alloy wheels are said to have been replaced under current ownership and are wrapped in 195/55 Kumho Solus 4S HA32 tires that were mounted in August 2023. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes, and the seller notes that the brake fluid was flushed and the rotors and pads were replaced in 2023.

The manually-adjustable front bucket seats and the rear bench are upholstered in gray cloth with patterned inserts. Interior amenities include power windows and door locks, air conditioning, cruise control, and a factory CD stereo. The shifter boot is noted to have been replaced.

The leather-wrapped airbag steering wheel frames a 230-km/h SiR-branded speedometer and a 9k-rpm tachometer as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 195k kilometers (~121k miles), approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership.

The 1.6-liter B16A inline-four is equipped with dual overhead camshafts and VTEC variable valve timing. Output was rated at 160 horsepower and 111 lb-ft of torque when new, and the car is equipped with a factory front strut tower brace. Service reported in 2023 included flushing the coolant, changing the oil, and replacing the engine bearings, seals, and gaskets along with the radiator.

Power is sent to the front wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle, and the seller notes that service in 2023 included flushing the transaxle and clutch fluid and replacing the transaxle input shaft bearing and the clutch slave cylinder.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in British Columbia. An open recall is noted in January 2020 pertaining to the driver airbag inflator.

The car does not have a title, as it was most recently registered in a province that does not issue titles for vehicles. It is being sold on its registration, and out-of-country bidders should review importation laws before committing to bid.
