No Reserve: JDM 1993 Honda Civic SiR 5-Speed

This 1993 Honda Civic SiR is a right-hand-drive hatchback that was imported from Japan to the US by the seller in December 2018, reportedly after being purchased from its first owner. The car is finished in blue over black and checkered cloth upholstery, and power is provided by a 1.6-liter B16A inline-four mated to a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes 15″ alloy wheels, a sunroof, a hatch spoiler, power-folding mirrors, air conditioning, and a Gathers CD/cassette stereo with an equalizer. Work under current ownership included replacing the timing belt, water pump, serpentine belt, tensioner pulley, spark plugs, plug wires, PCV valve, and valve cover and oil pan gaskets. This EG6 SiR shows 114k kilometers (~71k miles) and is now offered at no reserve with an owner’s manual, service records, import documents, and a clean Oregon title in the seller’s name.

The car was refinished in blue pearl under current ownership. Features include DOHC VTEC side graphics, power-folding mirrors, a sunroof, a hatch spoiler, a rear wiper, mud flaps, and a single exhaust outlet. A blemish is present on the front lip.

Five-spoke 15″ alloy wheels are wrapped in 195/55 Westlake Radial RP18 tires, which were mounted in October 2019. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black cloth with checkered inserts joined by a matching center armrest and door panels. Amenities include air conditioning, power windows and door locks, and a Gathers CD/cassette stereo with an equalizer.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 190-km/h speedometer and a tachometer with an 8,250-rpm redline along with auxiliary gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 114k kilometers (~71k miles), approximately 1,500 of which were added by the seller.

The DOHC 1.6-liter B16A inline-four is equipped with VTEC variable valve timing and was rated at 168 horsepower and 116 lb-ft of torque when new. Work under current ownership included replacing the timing belt, water pump, serpentine belt, tensioner pulley, spark plugs, plug wires, PCV valve, and valve cover and oil pan gaskets.
